Cologne, 18th May 2010 – One week before the official start of the women’s soccer world cup ident.africa organizes the 5th girls soccer tournament “Kick4Boboyo”. Again, 600 footballer from Germany and abroad are expected. With the revenues of this charity tournament ident.africa supports young women from the village Boboyo in Cameroon. The tournament starts on the 19th June 2011 at 10 a.m. right in front of the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne. Teams can still register for free for the tournament. Continue reading
The pupils of the village Lara, approximately 20 minutes away from Boboyo, are from now on able to be taught in the handling of a computer and they also have a free internet access. In order to arrange this ident.africa and Manfred Hambrock organized 15 computers, keyboards, computer mice, a laser printer and a network switch for the internet connection. The installation at site was carried out by Manfred Hambrock himself, a retired industrial business administrator and a volunteer at the Senior Expert Service (SES Bonn). Continue reading
Health care station, computer room of the secondary school, multifunctional centre – these three facilities built by ident.africa are now permanently connected to the power grid. Due to the financial support of the German embassy, Boboyo is now connected to the Cameroon electrical power net with. The total financial assistance to Boboyo was 13.000 Euro.
